JAMES M. RIPPE, M.D., is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He is the Founder and Director of the Rippe Lifestyle Institute in Shrewsbury, Mass., one of the largest nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle medicine research organizations in the United States.
